Covid-19: Site Visit Procedures

New procedures for onsite visits (updated 3.11.2020)

In response to the new Government guidance and a nationwide lockdown in place from Thursday 5th November.

It goes without saying, only absolutely necessary site visits will happen at this time. We want to continue providing a good service to our clients whilst keeping our people safe.

Our engineers will avoid close contact with clients where possible whilst ensuring you have a working service. Prior to the visit and to ensure it will still go ahead as planned we will be asking the following:

Has anyone in the premises been diagnosed with COVID-19, been asked to self-isolate, or been travelling to a coronavirus high-risk area or country in the last 14 days? Is anyone on the premises suffering from flu-like symptoms?

If the answer to either of the above is yes, the engineer will not attend the visit/enter the premises and the job will be rescheduled for a later date.

If the answer is no, the engineer will enter the premises and take extra precautions e.g. asking you to vacate to another room.

For some jobs, our third party engineers, such as Openreach will be following the same procedures.

If you have any questions or need further guidance on these procedures please contact info@glemnet.com or call 0208 639 0230.
